INVITATION TO BID

The Cross River State Electrification Agency (SEA) intends to procure the services of qualified contractors to bid for the electrification, rehabilitation, reticulation and expansion of electricity infrastructures in Cross River State.

LOTS/PROJECTS
LOT 1: PROJECT: Expansion/reticulation of electricity in Ipong communities comprising of Kakum, Bebuatsuan, Bebuabie and Bebuagbong in Obudu Local Government Area and electrification of Begiatte in Bendi 1 in Obanikoro Local Government Area with a Tee Off from Begiasu 1.

LOT 2: PROJECT: Electrification of Ukpah communities comprising of Ukwurisen New Jerusalem, Ofambe and Okiro with a Tee Off from Ukpe in Obudu Local Government Area.

LOT 3: PROJECT: Electrification of Ukpah communities comprising of Abualugu with a Tee Off from Udama Market square and Agbalu with a Tee Off Hon. Timothy Omang Road (by the primary school) in Bekwara Local Government Area.

LOT 4: PROJECT: Electrification of Ogboja/Ndok communities comprising of Ukende, Akpakpanga, Ogboja/Ndok/ Abakpa junction, Federal Housing, Ndok 3 – corners and Ndok America in Ogoja Local Government Area.

LOT 5: PROJECT: Electrification of Woleche Ebo Community with a Tee Off from Ipole in Yala Local Government Area.

LOT 6: PROJECT: Electrification of Kakwagom/Bawop /OkuArop Communities with a Tee Off from OKundi in Boki Local Government

LOT 7: PROJECT: Rehabilitation of Boje electrification network from Nsadop, restoration of power to Boje, Reticulation of electricity at Nsadop, Onitsha farm and expansion of power to Kachie/Asuben Estate Camp 1 in Boki Local Government

QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:
To qualify for consideration, your bid documents must be accompanied with the following:
i. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
ii. Evidence of registration with Due Process and price intelligence Bureau, Cross River State
iii. Evidence of Company Audited Account for the last three (3) years
iv. Evidence of similar work done in the past
v. Evidence of current tax clearance certificate for three (3) years (up to December 2015)
vi. Evidence of VAT registration and past remittances/returns
vii. Evidence of knowledge of the Industry
viii. Evidence of financial capacity, bank support and bid security
ix. Technical and Financial bid/tender documents separately sealed
x. Any other relevant information

Bid/tender documents are to be collected from the procurement officer, State Electrification Agency (2nd Floor) upon payment of a non-refundable sum of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00) only and to be submitted within four (4) weeks with effects from Thursday 17th November, 2016.

SUBMISSION
All completed bids are to submitted in duplicate in one sealed envelope measuring 29.5 x 35.5cm and marked “Bids for the electrification, Reticulation, Rehabilitation and Expansion of Electricity Infrastructures” and address to:

To reach the procurement unit of the Agency on or before Friday, the 16th day of December 2016 by 12.00noon.

BID OPENING
The Bids/Tenders will be opened on the Friday 16th day of December, 2016 by 1.00pm in the Agency’s conference room.

NOTATION
Notwithstanding the submission of tender, the Cross River State Government is neither committed nor bound to accept any bids received. Only qualified bids shall be considered. This invitation to bids shall not be considered as a commitment on the part of the Cross River State Government nor shall it entitle bidders to make any claim what so ever and or seek any compensation from the Cross River State Government by virtue of having responded to this invitation.
